BBchat Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of BBchat and related services (collectively, the “Service”) operated by BananaWorld株式会社 / BANANAWORLD K.K. (“we”, “our” or “us”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Transaction disclosures required under Japanese law are available in our 特定商取引法に基づく表記.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use BBchat. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you must have permission from a parent or guardian. A minor may make an in-app purchase only with any guardian authorization required in the place where the user lives.
2. Accounts and security
- Provide accurate information and keep your account credentials confidential.
- You are responsible for activity performed through your account, except to the extent applicable law provides otherwise.
- Notify support promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
- Do not share passwords, verification codes, access tokens, refresh tokens or other complete credentials.
3. Acceptable use and safety
You must not use BBchat to break the law; distribute malware; spam or deceive others; harass, threaten or exploit another person; share unlawful or abusive material; impersonate others; interfere with the Service; gain unauthorized access; or collect data without permission.
We may review reports and restrict content or accounts when reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect users, comply with law or maintain the Service. Use the in-app report and block controls or follow the minimal-information guidance on BBchat Support.
4. User content
You retain ownership of content you create or share. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, transmit, display and otherwise handle that content only as needed to operate, secure and improve the Service, apply your settings and comply with law. You are responsible for the content you submit and for having the rights needed to submit it.
5. Current service scope
Depending on app version, device permissions, region and account status, BBchat may provide direct and group messaging, media sharing, voice and video calls, push notifications, map and location visibility controls, safety tools, and eligible Gold Coin functions. We do not promise that every feature will always be available to every user.
6. Gold Coins and Apple StoreKit purchases
- Eligible Gold Coins are purchased in the BBchat iOS app through Apple StoreKit. Apple displays and collects the current price, currency and applicable tax.
- We verify the Apple-signed transaction and credit the associated quantity once. A transaction may remain pending while verification completes.
- Gold Coins are digital service credits for currently eligible BBchat functions. They are not cash, legal tender, a bank deposit or an interest-bearing product and cannot be transferred outside supported functions.
- Free or promotional rewards, including eligible rewarded-ad credits, may have separate limits, eligible uses or expiration rules shown in the app.
- Apple purchase controls, including Ask to Buy and device settings, should be used where appropriate.
7. App Store refunds and purchase support
Apple receives payment for iOS in-app purchases and decides refund requests. Submit a refund request through reportaproblem.apple.com. If a purchase or coin balance appears inconsistent, contact BBchat Support with the Apple transaction ID and approximate time. Do not send an Apple ID password, full card details, verification code or complete credential.
If Apple confirms a refund, revocation or chargeback, we may reconcile the corresponding Gold Coins and order status. Mandatory consumer rights are not limited by these Terms.
8. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what information is processed, the purposes, relevant service providers and your choices. Permission-controlled features such as location, microphone, camera and notifications depend on your device settings.
9. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design and operator-provided content, is owned by or licensed to BananaWorld株式会社 / BANANAWORLD K.K. and is protected by applicable intellectual-property law. Except where law permits, you may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer or exploit the Service without prior permission.
10. Account suspension and deletion
We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms or creates a material safety, security or legal risk, subject to applicable law. You may request deletion through the self-service account-deletion page. The page presents the deletion impact before final confirmation. If the account has no verified email or the self-service flow is unavailable, contact bananaworld9988@gmail.com.
11. Service availability and changes
We may maintain, change, limit or discontinue parts of the Service. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or available on every device or in every region. Material changes to these Terms will be posted with an updated date and handled as required by applicable law.
12. Disclaimers
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
13. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BANANAWORLD K.K. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR A CLAIM RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM. NOTHING IN THESE TERMS EXCLUDES LIABILITY THAT CANNOT LAWFULLY BE EXCLUDED.
14. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless BananaWorld株式会社 / BANANAWORLD K.K. and its officers, employees and agents from claims, losses and reasonable expenses arising from your unlawful use of the Service, your User Content or your violation of these Terms.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Disputes should first be addressed through good-faith discussion. If a dispute cannot be resolved, the Saitama District Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
